Casa Halcon lies just below the village of Puntagorda, at 550m above sea level and in it's own large 8000m grounds. Rest and privacy are guaranteed. This 85mē large holiday house is suitable for 5 adults and 1 child up to 3 years. Extras include a telephone connection and washing machine.

Casa Halcon is surrounded by a wide variety of trees, bushes and plants. De terrace is partly covered and gives a wide view over the countryside and the Atlantic Ocean. The terrace is furnished with a table and chairs, sun beds and parasols.

Description.
The spacious living room of Casa Halcón is tastefully furnished with a sofa, easy chairs, a bookcase with books, radio-CD player and telephone.		Double doors give access to the terrace. You can also see the sea form inside the house. There is an electric heater and wood-burning stove for the cooler winter nights.

 

In the kitchen is a dining table and chairs, a gas stove, refrigerator and plenty of kitchen utensils.

 

Casa Halcon has 2 bedrooms. In the 2 persons bedroom is a double bed with bedside cupboards and a wardrobe. In the 3-persons bedroom is a double and a single bed and a chair and wardrobe. Bathroom has a hand basin, shower and washing machine. The toilet is separate.

 

The area.

Puntagorda, is one of the most beautiful parts of La Palma, it lies on the west side of the island about 1,5 hours drive from the airport. Casa Halcon is less than 10 minutes drive from the village centre where there you will find restaurants and typical local bars, supermarkets, shops, a dispensing chemist, post office, banks and cash-dispensers, a butcher and on Saturdays and Sundays the market in the Mercadillo. A sandy beach and fishing harbour can be found in Tazacorte, about a 30 minutes drive. In the area around Puntagorda there is much for the nature lover to see, there are many footpaths, viewing points, old buildings, a couple of windmills and the nature reserve pine forest El Fayal. At Puntagorda Puerto you can walk down the many steps to the sea and enjoy the views along the rocky cliffs and nature reserve along the coast on the way. In calm weather you can swim in the small pool and the sea.
